Christmas was nice.

It has been a while since my last update. And it is clearly time for another one.

For Christmas this year I got a lot of fun coffee related gifts. It was perfect. I will tell you about it but first...coffee

One of the blessings of living in Tallahassee is that any time you have to drive to Miami you have to pass Gainesville. That would not normally be a "blessing" except that they are home to Volta. This December/January was especially good to me because we (Shannon and I) went home not once, but three times in one month. That meant 6 visits to Volta. And that means more delicious cappuccinos and macchiatos than I have had in a LONG time. While there I picked up some of Intelligentsia's Holiday blends and Ecco Caffe's Fazenda Sertaozinho.

I don't know if you can tell, but this bag is empty. I brewed it in my Chemex, my Aeropress (Christmas gifts), and French Press. It never failed to impress.

Well, in addition to my Aeropress, I received a V60, a Hario Skerton grinder, some of Intelligentsia's Colombia Heliconias, and some of 3FE's (and of course, HasBean's) "Frosty" blend. Now, I am still waiting for Frosty to arrive, but when it does, I'll be sure to post again.

Well, I am going to go finish enjoying this coffee. I do hope to blog more often. Maybe the next one will be with Frosty from Grassroots or Calvin's.
